To take care of all your travel plans, we have been working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Blu Lux Vacations. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort.
We ask that you book your stay directly from this site, as guests that book outside the group may incur additional fees to attend the wedding events.
In order to take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guest must have their reservations for the hotel made by January, 1st 2025. All reservations will need to be paid in full by February, 1st 2025.
We are currently holding rooms from June 1st, 2025 - June 6th, 2025; however, you may book any dates you wish through this website (if we are not holding the room, our travel agent will request it be added to our group). All guests must be staying at the resort in order to attend the wedding.

Check-in Policy:
Check-in begins at 3pm Guests arriving earlier than 3 pm are welcome to use the resort immediately upon arrival even if their room is not ready. The hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Check-out is 11am.

Here are some short answers for the Q&A section:
1. Do you have a room block?
Yes, we have reserved a block of rooms at Generations, El Dorado Royale, and El Dorado Casitas. El Dorado and Casitas are adults only, and Generations is family friendly, but they have shared privileges. Casitas residents have access to all three. Royale has access to Generations, and Generations adults have access to Royale. Royale guests have permission at Casitas bars and restaurants, but Casitas beaches and pools are exclusive.
Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like a room outside the block, please use the unlisted category and type in the category you'd like to reserve. Book directly from this site by clicking "Request a Reservation" below.
2. What dates should I travel?
The wedding will take place on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at Generations Riviera Maya All Inclusive Resort in Mexico. Please plan your travel accordingly and be prepared for flight. It is recommended you arrive at LEAST 2 days prior to the wedding in order to avoid missing out on wedding events.
3. How long should I stay?
Refer to the wedding itinerary for details, but there is a minimum of a 3-nights stay.
4. Dates for room block?
Room block dates are from June 1st, to June 6th, 2025. However, you may book any dates you wish through this website. If you're like to stay before or after the block, please submit your reservation with the booking form below, and the additional dates will be requested to be added to the room block from the resort.
5. When do I need to book by?
To take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guests must have their reservations for the hotel made by January 1st, 2025. All reservations will need to be paid in full by February 1st, 2025.
6. Is there a deadline to request a room or pay a deposit?
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of reservation. Alternatively, you may choose to purchase travel insurance, in which case the cost of travel insurance serves as the deposit. Please ensure your reservation is booked by January 1st, 2025.
7. Travel insurance?
Travel insurance is highly recommended. The options are listed in the booking form below, with a link to explain any and all details.
8. Can we bring children?
Unfortunately, besides our bridal party and immediate family, we are not allowing children at our wedding celebration.
9. Do I need a passport?
Yes, a valid passport is required. Ensure it does not expire within six months of travel.
10. What airport do I fly into?
Fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).
11. Transportation to and from the airport?
Ground transportation will be organized by Blu Lux Vacations and can be requested or denied in the booking form below.
12. Is airfare included?
Airfare is not included unless otherwise specified, but please provide your flight information when available, in order to help organize your ground transportation.
13. Is everything included or all-inclusive?
The resort is all-inclusive. Once here, there is no need to purchase food or drinks, though there may be other opportunities for you to make purchases while in destination.
14. Transportation at the resort?
Transportation options are available within the resort premises, at the request of the resort. They have golf carts available, if needed, to help transport to wedding events if necessary, but may come at an additional cost. Consult the concierge desk for assistance with this.
15. Can adults go to all resorts? More inclusive plan?
Adults can access all resorts within the designated areas, though Casitas is has private beaches and pools.
16. What should I do if I cannot attend?
Please RSVP "NO" as soon as possible directly to the bride and groom. We'll be sorry to miss you but totally understand. Notify us of any changes to your reservation.
17. How do I RSVP?
RSVP by booking your room with our travel agent by January 1, 2025 using the booking form below.
18. Can I use American Money in Mexico?
Yes, American money is accepted. Bring small bills for tipping. Tim, with Blu Lux Vacations, usually tips the transporter about $5 per person, a dollar per drink for tips, $3-5 on the bed in the morning for room service, and $3-$10 at mealtime for servers/bussers, however, this is not expected. In fact, it's not even a custom for European travelers to be tipping at all, and those I have met along the way found it odd. Having said that, the resort staff notices, and you will notice a BIG difference in service. You take care of them, they take care of you.
Make sure you call your bank before you leave and let them know you will be traveling to Mexico in case you need to purchase anything with credit/debit cards.
19. Is Mexico Safe?
Traveling to any destination, domestic and/or international, is not without risk. Our agency does a significant amount of business with Lomas Travel, who is the transportation company, and the 3 resorts (Generations Riviera Maya, El Dorado Royale and Casitas Royale), where they have security around the clock.
20. Any Excursions? Entertainment and activities?
Excursions are available at an additional cost, and can be booked via the link below. Entertainment and activities will be provided by the entertainment team on the resort. They will have a schedule posted, and you may ask the front desk upon check in.
21. Cabanas, Starbucks?
Cabanas and Starbucks may be available at the resort at an additional cost.

Transportation with Lomas Travels
Your ground transportation team will be Lomas Travels. They will be providing the transportation when booked using the booking form below and have a number of options to choose from. The duration of the ride between the airport to the resort may vary due to traffic and type of transfers booked. All prices listed are for round trip.
With Shared Transfers, they will provide a vehicle on a first come first served basis to whomever approaches them. They may make additional stops at different resorts for other travelers along the way, (up to 3 stops), but this is the most affordable option and the price is per person.
Private transfers eliminates those stops along the way. Your party of up to 7 passengers will be picked up and delivered to the resort. All passengers on private transportation need to be on the same flights. The price is per vehicle.
Private Luxury Collection can hold up to 5 passengers, and the same rules apply as the private transfers. The price is per vehicle.
Limo Transfers can hold up to 6 passengers, and the same rules apply as the private transfers. The price is per vehicle.
